Yee Haa look at these cute tees from Brunswick buddies 'Sunday Morning Designs'. Starting in sizes for those closer to toddling this time round (yes thats Charlie now!). In super fine cotton, made, designed and printed locally, just lovely.

One day a sweet girl came into our store and told us she was designing some stationary and would we be interested in seeing it...some time later she popped back in and in that time she had created 'Ask Alice'. Designed, printed, made in Melbourne which is quite an effort. We have just had a delivery from her in the past couple of weeks and if you've got some notes to jot or a memoir to scribe this is it. Beautiful fabric, hard covered books are just one of her off springs. Pop in to see other designs.

Country swap meet this weekend, and these were added to the family. I was working in the shop when an email came through quoting that there had been car purchases made, I was wondering how much more could possibly fit in the garage, and now I can happily try fit these in the toy box....also over flowing!

We received a lovely delivery from Shonah this week, some new square pendants featuring original screen prints and vintage inspired necklaces with charms, below. Lots more in store too including brooches, cufflinks and earrings.

Long time Boroughs stockest, Kenji Uranishi has just let us know that he and his wife have been busy  organising a project together raising money for the Red Cross Japan and Pacific Appeal 2011.

More than 20 artists have each donated work that will be auctioned on eBay starting on Friday 8th April 3pm (EST) and finishing Sunday 10th April at 8pm (EST).

We've got three designs available in this style, the other one we call 'arrowheads' it's like a little leaf shape and printed in black. Now I've just got to do doorstops.

Another gorgeous few days weather wise- hope as many of you out there are enjoying it!
We've had a few more spurts in the studio and are getting our way through making shoulder bags and more doorstops, as well as gift cards and tags. More photos to come once there finished.

Tomorrow I'm off around the corner to see Al at Otto and Spike to look at their winter range- exciting especially to those people that have already popped in to see if anything had arrived yet!
We'll also discuss the POP UP shop for the coming months, that is eeeeeeeexcitment!

I'm about to purchase my sons first shoes (excitment) and he'll be sporting his very own pair of Chuck Taylors- but lucky for him they'll be soft canvas and not bone china, awkward.

These have been a favourite here (see above) and they've just made a come back after selling out. Buy one or get yourself a kickn' pair.

But on a more personal note, the littlest member of the boroughs took his first step last night! Eeekkk, never felt such a joy. Just know some will share the excitement.

Just thought how I love looking at blogs and other peoples shop/house interiors so I thought I'd post some recent photos of the shop for you...we have people contact us about the shop from all over Australia as well as overseas so for those that may never make it in, enjoy!

So it's back to work for us now- after a lovely refreshing break! We hope you all enjoyed some well deserved time with friends and family over the past few weeks.
